Extra Curricular and SportSt. Michael's College offers a range of extra-curricular activities for the holistic development of our students. For the past number of years all students in the school have participated in the Aviva Mile Challenge as well as a 10Km cycle as part of Health Promotion Week.
In the lead up to Christmas the college hosts a variety show where all student's are given the opportunity to demonstrate their many talents. This has been the highlight of the season for the past number of years attracting record attendance. The school has a proud tradition in Gaelic Football, winning many prestigious titles over the years. We have been the breeding ground for multiple All Ireland medalists. We can also boast a rich pedigree of native hurlers, especially the many Crotta O'Neills men who have attended the school. After school activities are organised in the following sports: Gaelic Football, Basketball, Rugby, Badminton, Athletics and Soccer. |
